Description

You will support the independent and team-based testing and assessment of modern IT security products. The work includes analyzing product security architectures, deriving attack vectors, and developing creative tests using modern source code and current vulnerability research. You will collaborate with national and international authorities and associations on future security topics.

Responsibilities

• Support the examination and evaluation of state-of-the-art IT security products (independently and in a team)

• Strengthen a leading testing body for IT security with national and international customers across domains such as energy transition, cryptography, eHealth, automotive, biometrics, and space

• Analyze product security architectures and derive attack vectors

• Develop creative tests, analyze modern source code, and work on the latest vulnerabilities

• Collaborate with national/international authorities and associations (BSI, BMWK, PTB, IPA, CSA, etc.) and customers on future topics

Requirements

• MINT university degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD)

• Junior or senior experience level is welcome

• Interest in the (in)security of IT products and a basic understanding of IT security

• Ideally specialized knowledge in IT security

• Enjoy working in a team with strong communication skills

• Secure English in speaking and writing

• Analytical thinking, interest in new topics, and motivation to keep learning
