Description

You’ll join a 10-week summer internship to support data & analytics initiatives across the bank, with a dual experience: half your time with a host team inside Data & Analytics and half on a cross-functional, real-world project that covers the full project lifecycle. Intern work may involve statistical modeling, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and related areas. You’ll collaborate with mentors and business partners, build and validate analytics solutions, and present findings in a capstone presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners and mentors to understand goals, business needs, and available data sources

  • Participate in data preparation: attribute selection, exploratory data analysis (EDA), data transformation, and work with temporal data structures

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights

  • Apply statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, model development, validation) aligned to business objectives

  • Perform hands-on analysis using text mining, quantitative methods, and operational data techniques

  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback to iteratively refine models and approaches

  • Present findings and recommendations to peers and business leaders

Requirements

  • Successfully complete a video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Education in statistical theory for building robust statistical models and analytic outputs

  • Experience cleaning and processing raw and prepared datasets

  • Proficiency with SQL and statistical/machine learning tools: Python, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks

  • Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Strong attention to detail; able to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • US permanent work authorization required; no CPT, OPT, or visa sponsorship
