• Role: Network Threat Response Expert

Description

You will plan and implement preventive measures based on threat analysis data, define rapid response policies, and automate detection and appropriate remediation. You will build and evolve the organization’s network security architecture and implement, configure, and optimize IDS/IPS, WAF, and Anti-DDoS solutions. You will also develop incident response automation (scripts, playbooks, tool integrations) and apply virtual patching to reduce vulnerability risk without changing application source code.

Requirements

• Experience detecting and analyzing network attacks
• Experience designing network security architecture or system security architecture
• Knowledge of firewall and WAF systems and how to configure them in hybrid environments (VMware/Azure/GCP)
• Practical knowledge of network incident response techniques and creating/testing security policies
• Ability to perform problem analysis to identify root cause (RCA)
• Ability to create response automation (e.g., Python or shell)
• Understanding of the vulnerability lifecycle and mitigation methods without modifying application infrastructure
• Practical knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, ISO/OSI layers, routing, switching) and securing network traffic
• Additional advantage: Linux/Unix experience
• Additional advantage: knowledge of segmentation, access control, cryptographic techniques, and VPN
• Preferred: CISSP, OSCP, MAD, or similar certifications
