Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead GCP DevOps Engineer to deliver Google Cloud Platform solutions for clients. You will lead cloud-native transformations by driving architecture, guiding teams on best practices, and providing strategic oversight for scalability and reliability. The role includes owning technical requirements clarification, directing DevOps and automation practices, and mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

• Clarify technical requirements and define project scope
• Provide leadership in customer engagement to ensure alignment and success
• Direct and supervise adaptation of customer applications to a cloud-native framework
• Define and implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
• Architect and optimize cloud applications for scalability (CDN, caching, compute optimizations, robust load balancing)
• Oversee deployment and configuration of GCP services (identity management, secure network architecture, application security, billing processes)
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of technical decisions, designs, and processes
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure optimal performance for cloud applications (Kubernetes clusters and network connectivity)
• Mentor and guide team members through knowledge sharing and training
