Description

Lead and oversee Google Cloud Platform DevOps and cloud-native transformation efforts, driving architecture, best practices, and strategic oversight. Own technical scope and alignment with customers, guide application modernization, and implement DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code. Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance across GCP services and Kubernetes environments, while also contributing to enterprise AI integration and agentic/GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify technical requirements and define project scope
  • Lead customer engagement to ensure project alignment and success
  • Supervise adaptation of customer applications to cloud-native frameworks
  • Define and implement DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code)
  • Architect and optimize cloud applications for scalability (CDN, caching, compute optimizations, load balancing)
  • Oversee GCP service deployment and configuration (identity management, secure network architecture, application security, billing)
  • Create and maintain documentation of technical decisions, designs, and processes
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure optimal performance (Kubernetes clusters, network connectivity)
  • Mentor and guide team members with knowledge-sharing and training

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
  • Advanced hands-on expertise in GCP (GKE, Cloud Build, Secret Management, Container Registry)
  • Ability to manage high availability, scalability, and security for Kubernetes clusters and cloud applications
  • Strong version control with GitHub, including branching and repository management
  • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Experience creating and managing Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML configurations
  • Infrastructure automation with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Kubernetes, network connectivity, and distributed system performance bottlenecks
  • Experience diagnosing and debugging Python-based cloud-native applications
  • Enterprise AI integration experience (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI Services)
  • Design, build, and operate AI agents and agentic AI frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and implementation
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Trae, OpenCode, Antigravity, or similar)
  • Understanding of GenAI technologies, LLMs, and enterprise AI solution design
