Description

You will lead the architecture and delivery of Google Cloud Platform solutions, driving best practices for scalability and reliability. The role includes DevOps ownership (CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code), leadership on Kubernetes-based deployments, and guidance for cloud-native application adaptation. You will also collaborate with customers on scope alignment and provide mentorship to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify technical requirements and define project scope
  • Lead customer engagement to ensure alignment and project success
  • Direct and supervise adaptation of customer applications to a cloud-native framework
  • Define and implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
  • Architect and optimize cloud applications for scalability (CDN, caching, compute optimizations, load balancing)
  • Oversee deployment and configuration of GCP services (identity management, secure networking, application security, billing processes)
  • Create and maintain documentation of technical decisions, designs, and processes
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure optimal performance (Kubernetes clusters and network connectivity)
  • Mentor and guide team members through knowledge-sharing and training

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
  • Advanced, hands-on expertise in GCP services such as GKE, CloudBuild, Secret Management, and Container Registry
  • Proven ability to manage high availability, scalability, and security for Kubernetes clusters and cloud applications
  • Advanced knowledge of version control (e.g., GitHub), including branching and repository management
  • Mastery of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Expertise creating and managing Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML configurations
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Kubernetes, network connectivity, and distributed system performance bottlenecks
  • Familiarity with diagnosing and debugging Python-based applications and other cloud-native technologies
  • Experience with enterprise AI integration using AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Azure AI Services
  • Expertise in designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic AI frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and implementation
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Trae, OpenCode, Antigravity)
  • Understanding of modern Generative AI technologies, LLMs, and enterprise AI solution design
