Description

Lead the design and delivery of Google Cloud Platform solutions in a customer-focused leadership role. You will drive cloud-native architecture decisions, define DevOps practices (CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code), and oversee secure, scalable deployments. You will also mentor the team and ensure high performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify technical requirements and define project scope

  • Lead customer engagement to ensure alignment and project success

  • Guide adaptation of customer applications to a cloud-native framework

  • Define and implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)

  • Architect and optimize cloud applications for scalability (CDN, caching, compute optimizations, load balancing)

  • Oversee deployment and configuration of GCP services (identity management, secure networking, application security, billing)

  • Create and maintain documentation of technical decisions, designs, and processes

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure optimal performance for cloud applications (including Kubernetes clusters and network connectivity)

  • Mentor team members through knowledge-sharing and training

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles

  • Advanced, hands-on expertise in GCP services (GKE, CloudBuild, Secret Management, Container Registry)

  • Proven ability to manage high availability, scalability, and security for Kubernetes clusters and cloud applications

  • Strong knowledge of Version Control systems such as GitHub, including branch strategies and repository management

  • Mastery of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms

  • Experience creating and managing Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML configurations

  • In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure automation (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible)

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Kubernetes clusters, networking issues, and distributed system performance bottlenecks

  • Familiarity diagnosing and debugging Python-based applications and other cloud-native technologies

  • Experience with enterprise AI integration using AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Azure AI Services

  • Expertise in designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic AI frameworks

  • Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and implementation

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Trae, OpenCode, Antigravity, or similar)

  • Understanding of modern Generative AI technologies, LLMs, and enterprise AI solution design
