Description

Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructures in an international agile environment. Provision and maintain infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and Git-based CI/CD workflows, enhanced with AI. Operate Kubernetes platforms for containerized applications and automate improvements to reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud infrastructure in collaboration with senior architects
• Provision and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and Git-based CI/CD workflows
• Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized applications
• Build automation for reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Operate and integrate managed cloud services (compute, networking, storage, databases, messaging) across AWS, Azure, and GCP while meeting security and operational standards
• Collaborate in an international agile team to improve platform stability and developer experience
• Support knowledge sharing, operational procedures, and skill development using modern open-source tools (Docker, ArgoCD, Quarkus, GitHub Enterprise)

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services (preferably AWS or Azure)
• Practical experience or strong foundational knowledge in cloud platforms and containerization (AWS EC2/EKS/RDS/IAM, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and operations (Terraform, Bash scripting, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, basic monitoring/logging/troubleshooting)
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile ways of working; Jira and Confluence are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive learning mindset; AWS or Azure certification a plus or willingness to obtain
• Very good English and Polish communication; German is a plus
• Openness to a hybrid working model (Katowice office once per week)
• Successfully completed university studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable field
