Senior GCP DevOps Engineer

Description

Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to support clients implementing Google Cloud Platform products. You will provide architecture guidance, assist with data migration, troubleshoot and monitor cloud applications, and help ensure cloud-native best practices. The role also includes documentation and knowledge-sharing, with experience in enterprise AI integration being expected.

Responsibilities

• Clarify technical requirements and project scope
• Engage in communication with customers to ensure project alignment
• Adapt customer applications to a Cloud-Native approach
• Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
• Design and optimize cloud applications for scalability (CDN, caching, compute optimizations, load balancing)
• Deploy and configure GCP services for identity management, network architecture, application security, and billing
• Document technical decisions, designs, and processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications (network connectivity and cluster performance)
• Share knowledge and participate in training sessions to develop team expertise

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
• Qualifications in GCP services: GKE, CloudBuild, Secret Management, and Container Registry
• Experience managing high availability, scalability, and security for Kubernetes clusters and applications
• Proficiency with version control systems, including GitHub
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
• Ability to create and manage Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML configurations
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation/configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Capability to troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and network connectivity issues
• Familiarity diagnosing and debugging Python-based applications
• Experience with enterprise AI integration using AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Azure AI Services
• Expertise designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic AI frameworks
• Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and implementation
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Trae, OpenCode, Antigravity, or similar)
• Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher)
