Description

You will help move infrastructure from manual operations to a predictable, automated, and proactive hybrid environment. This role covers Kubernetes on on-premise and bare-metal, cloud-agnostic infrastructure architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and reliability engineering through observability, incident response, and SLA/SLI/SLO practices.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters in on-premise and bare-metal environments.
  • Develop a cloud-agnostic infrastructure architecture prepared for future hybrid and cloud environments.
  • Design and build Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, and Bash/Python scripts to reduce manual/repetitive work.
  • Work with development teams to improve SaaS reliability by defining, measuring, and optimizing SLA/SLI/SLO.
  • Diagnose complex infrastructure and networking issues across Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, reverse proxies, Kubernetes, and storage layers.
  • Develop proactive observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki (metrics, dashboards, alerts).
  • Participate in incident handling, analyze root causes, and write technical post-mortems to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain existing Docker Swarm environments and supporting platform infrastructure.
  • Work on network and storage infrastructure, including performance optimization and traffic to external S3-compatible object storage.
  • Share knowledge and support implementation of automation, reliability, and modern DevOps/SRE standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial experience as a Senior System Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role.
  • Practical experience with on-premise and bare-metal environments.
  • Strong Kubernetes and Docker skills, including independent troubleshooting of networking topics (CNI, Ingress).
  • Excellent Unix/Linux administration and ability to troubleshoot at system and network levels.
  • Experience with reverse proxies (e.g., nginx, HAProxy).
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform) and automation with Ansible plus Bash or Python.
  • Knowledge of SLA, SLI, SLO, monitoring, and incident handling.
  • Observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and with object storage (S3/S3-compatible) including performance troubleshooting.
  • Polish language skills and English at least B2 (primarily for technical documentation).
