Description

You will work as a Business Analyst supporting a cross-border public-sector initiative. The role involves analyzing business needs and processes, translating them into requirements and user stories, and modeling/documenting solutions using BPMN and UML. You will also support design, testing, deployment, and change management across the full software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs, requirements, and processes and translate them into concrete solutions

• Collaborate with business experts, Product Owners, and technical teams to define requirements and evolve systems

• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvement and optimization opportunities

• Model and document business processes, data, roles, competencies, and dependencies

• Support solution design, testing, implementation, and change management

• Prepare analyses, business cases, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit assessments

• Support continuous process improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness

• Support organizational change, including training and competency development plans

• Work with stakeholders and process owners to deliver business goals and plan further development

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the IT industry

• Minimum 5 years of experience in projects matching the role/profile

• At least one full lifecycle of an IT solution/system

• Practical BPMN business process modeling

• Experience gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements and user stories

• UML knowledge, especially activity diagrams, state diagrams, and capability diagrams

• Experience using modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or ARIS Architect (or similar)

• Very good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation

• Very good SharePoint knowledge and SharePoint platform-related tools

• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills

• Flexibility working with different technologies and platforms

• CBAP or equivalent certification

• UML Professional or BPM2 Fundamental or equivalent certification

• Higher education

• English proficiency at C1 level
