Description

You will design and implement database monitoring and data security solutions for customer environments—from solution architecture to fine-tuned audit policies in production. You’ll configure security monitoring tools and deploy agents, create and optimize audit policies, reports, and alerts with performance in mind, and integrate the solution with systems such as SIEM and identity/PAM services.

You’ll also handle operational issues, coordinate with the customer and the manufacturer support team, and deliver the solution to production including training and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the customer environment and propose the solution architecture for database monitoring

• Implement and configure data security monitoring tools; deploy agents on monitored systems

• Create and tune audit/security policies, reports, and alerts while considering monitored system performance

• Integrate the solution into the customer environment (SIEM, ticketing, directory services, PAM)

• Resolve operational problems and communicate with the customer and manufacturer support

• Hand over the solution to production, train customer teams, and write documentation

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data security

• Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase)

• Ability to work independently and communicate with customers, including during malfunction situations

• Czech or Slovak, or English at B2+ level for reading technical documentation
