Description

Build and evolve new modules for a Dealer Digital Assistant platform used by 1,400+ car dealerships across Europe. You’ll work on a modern PWA module using ReScript with offline mode, faster synchronization, improved UX, and new user functionality. Development is end-to-end: a ReScript/React frontend and Java (Spring WebFlux) backend services.

Responsibilities

• Develop modules for vehicle intake, preparation, and delivery with a live dashboard for technicians in the workshop and on the sales lot
• Implement frontend in ReScript/React and backend services in Java/Spring WebFlux (REST API, business logic, integrations)
• Design the data model and work with PostgreSQL reactively via R2DBC
• Collaborate closely with product owners and technical leaders from the automotive client
• Digitize checklists, photo documentation of damage, and PDF reports
• Deploy and operate services on GCP/Kubernetes using CI/CD
• Tune offline mode, PWA performance, and rapid data synchronization
• Use data-driven experiments to reduce technicians’ manual data entry time

Requirements

• Frontend: TypeScript/ReScript and React (hooks, context)
• Frontend: SPA, PWA, HTML + CSS (Flexbox/Grid)
• Functional programming basics and a test-driven mindset
• Backend: Java and Spring Boot / Spring WebFlux for REST API and services
• Relational database work with PostgreSQL (ideally reactive via R2DBC)
• Basic understanding of GCP and Kubernetes (advantage)
• Languages: Czech/Slovak C1; English B2
• Plus: Material UI, reactive programming (Project Reactor), CI/CD experience
