Description

You will implement and service Septim POS systems for customers in the canteen and dining segment, covering the full technical flow from installation preparation to onsite deployment and verification.

The work goes beyond hardware swapping: you will analyze issues, configure the Septim system, work with Linux, networks, and PostgreSQL, prepare databases and configurations for installs, and handle non-standard cases directly at the customer site.

You will also document changes and pass findings to others for follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure the Septim POS system, cash registers, card readers, printers, and other peripherals
• Work with Linux, networks, and PostgreSQL
• Diagnose hardware and software problems and find root causes
• Prepare and check databases and configurations before implementation
• Communicate with customers and colleagues during installations and service
• Document changes and share insights/findings

Requirements

• Good practical knowledge of PCs, networks, and peripherals
• Basic to practical Linux knowledge and basic SQL knowledge
• Ability to independently locate the cause of problems using logs, configuration, and documentation (not only manuals)
• Willingness to work even when the task is not fully specified, and to look up missing information
• Communicative, polite customer approach
• Driver’s license category B
