Description

You’ll help administer, operate, and further develop the organization’s cloud and virtualization environment. Work includes Hyper-V virtualization management, monitoring cloud service availability/performance, handling incidents and user support, and managing identity and access security.

Responsibilities

• Administer and operate the Hyper-V virtual infrastructure

• Monitor availability, stability, and performance of cloud services

• Resolve technical incidents and support users with their requests

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies

• Administer Microsoft identity and access components: Active Directory, DNS, GPO, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO and MFA

• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of cloud and virtualization processes

Requirements

• Prior experience with IT infrastructure administration

• Ability to troubleshoot independently and complete solutions end-to-end

• Hyper-V experience with daily administration

• Identity management knowledge: Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO and MFA, user accounts, and permissions

• Familiarity with DNS, VPN, and firewalls (GPON is a plus)

• At least basic PowerShell (or other scripting language) knowledge
