Description

You will analyze and integrate data from multiple systems, improve data quality, and develop and optimize Data Warehouse data models and pipelines. The role includes advising business teams on data management needs, monitoring and troubleshooting data integration, and documenting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from different systems, recognize patterns, and develop efficient data integration solutions.

  • Own the further development of the Data Warehouse and build data models for structured, high-performance data storage.

  • Develop and optimize processes to reliably consolidate and make data available from multiple systems.

  • Monitor and improve data quality and work with business areas to establish a consistent data foundation.

  • Collect requirements, consult business teams, and coordinate external service providers.

  • Document solutions, support error analysis, and assist business teams with questions related to data management.

Requirements

  • Completed degree (e.g., (business) informatics) or comparable training with relevant professional experience.

  • Practical experience in data analysis and data management with data from different systems.

  • Excellent SQL skills and experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

  • Ideally initial experience building or further developing Data Warehouse solutions.

  • Enjoy collaboration with different business functions.

  • Analytical thinking and a structured working style.

  • Knowledge of Python or comparable programming languages.

  • Knowledge of Git.

  • Knowledge of additional data management tools/technologies such as dbt, Dagster, Superset, and Docker.

  • Knowledge of operating an on-premise infrastructure.
