Description

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with hands-on experience in large-scale data applications, analysis, and transformation to support enterprise initiatives in the P&C Insurance domain. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to improve data accuracy, consistency, and business-aligned values.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end data analysis including data profiling, validation, and transformation for large-scale data integration and reporting

• Develop source-to-target mappings (STTM) and supporting documentation based on business requirements

• Gather and analyze functional requirements with business users/stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications

• Partner with data engineers and developers to implement and validate data consolidation, standardization, and transformation logic

• Optimize complex SQL queries for performance and accuracy on large datasets

• Support data quality assessments and recommend data cleansing or enrichment strategies

• Apply P&C domain knowledge (policy administration and claims lifecycle) to ensure alignment with business processes

• Facilitate communication among business SMEs, data modelers, and technical teams to drive successful data delivery and adoption

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data mapping, and data transformation in enterprise data environments

• Strong SQL proficiency, including analytical functions, query optimization, and performance tuning

• Proven experience developing STTM documents and understanding ETL/data flow processes

• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate functional requirements into technical specifications
