Description

Own the day-to-day application health, administration, and configuration for a Siemens PLM and CAD ecosystem supporting engineering workflows. Monitor availability, triage and recover from production issues, and coordinate with Siemens and development partners to drive timely resolutions. Perform root-cause analysis for recurring incidents, manage user access and licensing, promote validated changes across environments, and keep runbooks/knowledge current to improve workflow reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational health, availability, administration, and application configuration for Siemens PLM and CAD
  • Monitor application health; triage production issues and meet service expectations for support requests
  • Coordinate recovery and incident resolution; track progress with Siemens/development partners
  • Investigate recurring incidents via root-cause analysis and deliver preventative fixes
  • Administer user provisioning, role changes, license allocation, access reviews, and license utilization
  • Maintain development, test, and production environments; validate configuration changes before controlled promotion to production
  • Coordinate maintenance, patches, and upgrades with users, infrastructure, identity, networking, security, and vendors to minimize disruption
  • Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and operating procedures; use support trends to prioritize reliability improvements

Requirements

  • Experience supporting enterprise engineering applications in a manufacturing or product-development environment
  • Strong understanding of PLM concepts, CAD/CAE workflows, and engineering toolchains
  • Hands-on experience administering Teamcenter and NX (or comparable engineering applications), including user access and configuration management
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based environment management, authentication systems, and enterprise identity-management concepts
  • Experience using ticketing systems, change-management processes, and technical documentation to manage operational work
  • Ability to prioritize concurrent engineering support needs and communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical partners
  • Comfort participating in on-call or critical-issue response for business-impacting engineering-system incidents

  • Target starting cash range: $140,000–$180,000 (final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and impact)
