Description

The Manual QA Tester prepares and maintains test cases and test scenarios, analyzes business and technical requirements, and performs functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing (UAT). The role covers UI/UX verification against requirements, defect reporting and collaboration with developers, and verification of fixes through retesting. You will also test REST API interfaces using Postman and Swagger and support QA processes for mortgage product and credit risk assessment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain test cases and test scenarios

• Analyze business and technical requirements for testability

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing

• Test UI/UX and confirm compliance with requirements

• Report defects and work closely with the development team

• Verify fixes and perform retests

• Participate in test planning and estimate test effort

• Document test results and prepare quality reports

• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business teams

• Test REST API interfaces using Postman and Swagger

• Support QA processes for mortgage products and credit risk assessment

Requirements

• Knowledge of testing processes and fundamentals of SDLC/STLC

• Experience in the banking or financial sector

• Experience testing web applications and APIs

• Ability to analyze requirements, think analytically, and execute tasks accurately

• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Xray)

• Knowledge of issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira)

• Basic knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman)

• Knowledge of log analysis tools (e.g., Kibana)

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, and teamwork in Agile

• Knowledge of credit products and credit processes
