Description

You will ensure the day-to-day technical operation of buildings, infrastructure, and plant-related facilities across the botanical garden site in Prague. The work includes regular inspections, routine repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting operational faults, and supporting measurement and control (MaR) systems. You will also coordinate external service providers, review their work, and maintain basic technical records.

Responsibilities

• Technical administration of buildings and other objects within the garden area

• Regular checks of the technical condition of buildings, equipment, and technologies

• Routine repairs and maintenance handled in-house

• Solving operational faults and finding practical solutions

• Work with measurement and control (MaR) systems and oversight of individual technologies

• Cooperation and communication with external service firms and suppliers

• Check of performed service and repair work

• Ensure and maintain records of regular inspections, audits, and service checkups

• Maintain simple records of completed work and technical documentation

• Cooperate with colleagues across the garden to meet operational and technical requirements

Requirements

• Secondary technical education

• Manual dexterity and technical thinking

• Ability to independently evaluate issues and propose solutions

• Responsibility, reliability, and willingness to work in the field

• Driver’s license category B

• Willingness to participate in the technical emergency standby system
