Description

You will take ownership of the technical side of an e-commerce ecosystem: running and improving web shops, connecting systems so data flows automatically, and automating recurring work. The role also includes basic internal IT support (devices, software, access) and troubleshooting to keep websites and tools reliable. AI is expected to be used pragmatically—only where it saves manual effort, speeds up problem-solving, or enables capabilities that would otherwise require additional specialists.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop e-commerce websites/e-shops across European markets and language variants
• Work primarily in Shoptet to ensure critical e-commerce components function correctly
• Update product pages, categories, landing pages, and site structure
• Identify and fix errors and friction points for customers and internal teams
• Partner with marketing and UX to implement new pages and web elements (technical translation of designs)
• Implement standard web changes using HTML/CSS (and JavaScript when needed); collaborate for complex items
• Connect internal systems via API/integrations/export-import and automation tools to prevent manual data entry
• Find repeatable or unnecessary work and simplify, automate, or eliminate it
• Apply AI to data/content work, bulk changes, internal workflows, tool building, and routine task automation
• Track new AI/automation options and evaluate what brings real value
• Help other teams use technologies more effectively and save time
• Provide basic IT support: troubleshoot common device/software/access issues and maintain access/backup/password/security standards

Requirements

• Proven experience with managing websites/e-commerce, automations, or similar technical projects
• Technical mindset with fast onboarding to unfamiliar systems
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript knowledge
• Understanding of system communication and comfort with APIs, exports/imports, webhooks, and automation tools
• Active AI usage as a work tool, plus ability to verify AI outputs
• Ability to find documentation, test solutions, and drive fixes to completion
• Basic understanding of e-commerce and the online purchase process; can evaluate changes from a customer viewpoint
• Detail orientation with proactive follow-through on issues and opportunities
• Clear communication with non-technical colleagues; patience when explaining
• English communication skills and ability to work with English documentation/tools
