Description

You will develop, maintain, and report on the integrated programme schedule for a separation programme covering both technology and business activities. The role ensures project timelines, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths are captured accurately to support successful delivery. You will also provide regular schedule reporting and planning insights for programme governance.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an integrated programme plan across multiple workstreams
  • Work with project managers, workstream leads, SMEs, and external partners to gather schedule information and updates
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, and critical path activities
  • Track progress against key milestones and escalation points
  • Produce regular schedule reports, dashboards, and planning insights for programme governance forums
  • Support project managers with scenario planning for impact assessments to baseline plans
  • Ensure planning standards and programme controls are consistently applied
  • Facilitate planning workshops and schedule review sessions with stakeholders
  • Maintain alignment between programme objectives, workstream plans, and delivery milestones

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Planner on large-scale technology, transformation, or separation programmes in financial services
  • Strong scheduling and planning skills using Microsoft Project
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing integrated plans across multiple projects and workstreams
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, dependencies, and critical path analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex programme environment
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or technology separation programmes
  • Knowledge of PMO and programme management methodologies (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, PMI)
  • Experience working with infrastructure, applications, data, cybersecurity, or business separation workstreams
