Description

You will lead development projects for embedded systems and complete system solutions covering hardware, software, and mechanics. You are responsible for the transition from development to serial production by coordinating downstream functions such as industrialization, serial test/development, and purchasing, while ensuring clear internal and external information flow. You will also support the creation of development proposals, define specification requirements (Pflichtenheft), assess new customer requirements for business impact, and coordinate communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Organizational responsibility for development projects in embedded systems and overall systems (hardware, software, mechanics)
  • Transition development projects to serial production with alignment across industrialization, serial test/development, and purchasing
  • Organize and distribute internal and external information
  • Contribute to the creation of development offers/proposals
  • Develop customer requirements and coordinate the project team to create specification documents (Pflichtenheft)
  • Capture and evaluate new customer requirements regarding economic project impact
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Support the entire product creation process from concept to serial introduction and ongoing support

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Computer Science, or comparable
  • Solid professional experience in development and concept design of complex embedded systems
  • Experience in project management or project coordination
  • Analytical, goal- and results-oriented mindset and very good communication skills
  • Independent, structured, and team-oriented working style
  • Good German and English skills in spoken and written communication
