Description

Assist in monitoring and analyzing master data, building reporting that surfaces the data, and driving efficiencies through automation in the Accounting department. Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, IT, and Software Engineering to ensure master data integrity and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions. Administer financial systems, develop ETL processes and scripts, write and troubleshoot SQL for reporting and data validation, and support internal users with issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure master data integrity and maintain processes supporting data quality
  • Develop and document data-quality processes with functional data owners
  • Maintain expertise in financial and accounting systems to ensure data alignment and consistency
  • Administer financial systems including Yardi, Blackline, and Alteryx Server
  • Incorporate Yardi subledger modules into Blackline
  • Gather requirements, analyze, implement, test, and deploy ETL processes and scripts
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL for reporting, reconciliations, data validation, and ETL (multi-table joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures)
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot system issues and minimize end-user downtime; assist with root-cause resolution
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate financial reporting
  • Build SQL-based reports and interactive dashboards in Sigma and Power BI; support migration away from Alteryx
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and communicate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
