Description

This hands-on role builds AI-powered pricing tools that automate pricing analysis and improve gross-margin outcomes. You’ll prototype and evaluate emerging AI approaches (including agentic workflows and RAG), engineer Snowflake-based data pipelines, and deploy predictive models into production with ongoing monitoring. You’ll also automate recurring reporting and deliver executive-ready insights that influence pricing and profitability decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own AI/LLM-based internal pricing tools, including architecture and day-to-day operation

  • Drive new AI use cases by prototyping and evaluating agentic workflows and RAG to automate repetitive pricing processes

  • Develop predictive models for pricing and margin forecasting using statistical and ML techniques on large datasets

  • Engineer reliable data pipelines by querying and modeling structured data in Snowflake and other sources with clean, reproducible code

  • Automate reporting pipelines to generate recurring KPI/QBR outputs, commentary, alerts, and decision-support

  • Operationalize and monitor models and tools in production, including monitoring, recalibration, and performance tracking

  • Own a cross-functional analytics platform consolidating quote, cost, and point-of-sale data into a single source of truth

  • Partner with Pricing, BizOps, Sales, and business systems teams to validate outputs and solve real business problems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or related)

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs/generative AI (LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, or agent frameworks)

  • Strong Python for data work, automation, and API calls with production-quality maintainable code

  • Proficiency in SQL and comfort with a cloud data platform; Snowflake experience required

  • Applied machine learning experience building, testing, and deploying models for pricing/forecasting/predictive analytics

  • Ability to produce explainable, auditable insights suitable for executive audiences
