Description

Architect and operate scalable data pipelines for petabyte-scale telemetry ingestion and processing from large device fleets. Build resilient, high-performance distributed systems in Kubernetes environments and turn raw telemetry into reliable data products that enable global operational insights.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate scalable data pipelines ingesting petabyte-scale telemetry from 25M+ network devices
• Engineer resilient, high-performance distributed systems in Kubernetes for availability and reliability of network infrastructure
• Translate complex data requirements into dependable solutions with cross-team collaboration
• Establish observability standards using ELK and Grafana to proactively detect issues and streamline recovery
• Integrate AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development while meeting security, validation, and design standards

Requirements

• Experience building, operating, or debugging distributed systems or backend services processing at least 1TB of telemetry data daily
• Production programming experience with Scala, C++, or Java
• Experience designing and managing data pipelines using Kafka, Spark, or Flink (streaming or batch)
• Production experience deploying and maintaining containerized workloads on Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Elasticsearch, or Grafana for automating infrastructure and monitoring workflows

Benefits

• Starting salary range (U.S. and/or Canada): $167,700 to $245,200, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits
