Field Service Engineer

Description

You will deliver high-quality service and technical expertise to healthcare customers, ensuring uptime, reliability, and performance of automation systems. The position emphasizes onsite troubleshooting and repair, preventive maintenance, clear communication with healthcare stakeholders, and accurate documentation to meet SLAs. You will also manage parts inventory and escalate complex product issues through appropriate technical channels.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electro-mechanical, automation, and system issues onsite

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

• Communicate clearly and responsively with nursing, pharmacy, and healthcare leaders

• Document service activities, repairs, escalations, and follow-ups per company policies

• Meet or exceed service-level agreements (SLAs), response times, and customer satisfaction standards

• Identify product issues/bugs/design challenges and escalate appropriately

• Maintain trunk stock, manage parts inventory, and ensure timely return of materials

• Partner with internal teams to improve service delivery, product performance, and customer experience

Requirements

• Coursework or training in Network Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, or related field

• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment

• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose technical issues

• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements
