Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and/or test/QA software. Apply software architecture knowledge to develop, debug, or design software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture; may telecommute.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation
• Object oriented programming (Java and C++)
• Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
• Internet protocols and standards including SMTP, REST, SSL, and HTTP
• Databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
