Description

You will provide holistic support for SAP S/4HANA applications and develop, enhance, and support the SAP RE-FX component. You will plan and execute SAP changes via customizing and/or programming, including quality assurance through developer and pre-acceptance tests, and manage product rollout steps to production. The role also includes processing and analyzing incidents in 2nd-level support and coordinating external service providers.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end support for SAP applications in the SAP S/4HANA area

  • Develop, enhance, and support the SAP component RE-FX

  • Steer and carry out IT developments via SAP customizing and/or programming; perform developer and pre-tests for quality assurance

  • Capture, analyze, assess, and implement change requests in SAP Solution Manager, including evaluation of impacts and dependencies

  • Plan, coordinate, and accompany all steps up to productive go-live of enhancements

  • Coordinate external vendors for development, operations, and incident management

  • Handle and analyze incident reports as part of 2nd-level support and develop sustainable solutions

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Bachelor/Fachhochschule) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification; alternatively eligibility for the higher technical service

  • At least 3 years of practical IT experience, including experience supporting and further developing SAP applications

  • Experience analyzing, designing, and implementing requirements in SAP environments and managing external service providers

  • Solid knowledge of module support and SAP customizing, ideally RE-FX

  • Knowledge of conducting error analysis for outages and problems

  • Knowledge of development tools, ideally SAP Object Navigator, Business Application Studio, or S4HANA Studio; and working with SAP Solution Manager, especially for change and incident management (advantage)

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • Ability to prepare complex topics clearly and communicate target-group appropriately

  • Structured, independent, solution-oriented working style; teamwork and strong communication

  • Interest in digitization, innovation, and continuous improvement of modern IT solutions

  • Good German communication skills in speech and writing
