Description

You will be responsible for SAP basis operations, including monitoring, error analysis, and incident resolution, along with administering key SAP infrastructure components and system connections. You will also plan and execute upgrades and release changes and contribute to SAP transformation and migration projects, including integration, identity, and access management in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of a heterogeneous SAP landscape across generations (SAP R/3, S/4HANA, SAP BTP)
• Perform monitoring, error analysis, and troubleshooting during daily operations; document solutions
• Administer central SAP infrastructure components and system connections
• Plan and carry out system upgrades, release changes, and maintenance windows independently
• Actively shape transformation and migration projects and drive the further development of the SAP landscape
• Participate in building and operating cloud-based SAP platforms and services
• Implement integration, identity, and access management solutions in hybrid landscapes
• Coordinate external service providers and closely collaborate with SAP within cloud operations models
• Support business departments and project teams as a technical contact
• Contribute to incident, problem, and change management
• Help future-proof SAP operations through process automation and modern technologies

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field; alternatively, equivalent training or relevant SAP practical experience
• Multi-year experience in operating and administering SAP system landscapes
• Practical experience in SAP transformation projects (e.g., system migrations or platform changes)
• Strong understanding of hybrid IT landscapes and the interaction between on-premises and cloud systems
• Experience with SAP Cloud platforms and services is a plus
• Basic knowledge of interfaces, integration scenarios, and identity management in SAP
• Ideally experience in managing external partners and cloud operating models
• Routine use of common monitoring and analysis tools
• Structured, analytical, and independent working style with strong team orientation
• Good German and English skills (written and spoken)
