Description

You will create technical concepts and develop SAP EWM enhancements and interfaces, covering central EWM processes from inbound/outbound through goods movements, inventory, HU and storage bin management, and RF framework topics. You will also modernize EWM process surfaces to improve usability and support apps, collaborate on integration (IDoc/ALE, RFC, OData/REST), and work with business teams to define specifications and estimates. Quality standards (ATC, Code Inspector, unit tests) and release/transport support are part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop EWM extensions and interfaces for decentralized EWM and S/4HANA Embedded
  • Work across central EWM processes: inbound/outbound, goods movements, inventory/stock, HU management, RF framework
  • Integrate EWM with ERP/S/4HANA and collaborate with module teams
  • Modernize EWM UI for RF transactions and user-friendly apps
  • Create technical specifications with business consulting and perform effort estimates
  • Establish quality standards (ATC, Code Inspector, unit tests) and support release/transport management
  • Conduct error analysis and provide 3rd-level support in agile teams

Requirements

  • Multi-year experience as an SAP developer with clear focus on EWM (decentralized or S/4 Embedded)
  • Very good knowledge of ABAP OO, BAdIs/User-Exits, and Enhancements; safe handling of EWM developer customization
  • Practical system integration experience (IDoc/ALE, RFC) and OData/REST
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus; knowledge of EWM MFS is a plus
  • Solid understanding of goods receipt/issue, picking, replenishment, inventory, and HU and storage bin management
  • Ability to create and read technical specifications and collaborate with business stakeholders
  • Fluent communication in German and English (internally and externally)
