Description

Design and implement Embedded Linux software for medical technology, with a focus on Linux kernel, driver, and middleware development. You will conceive and implement test strategies, expand the existing test framework, and take ownership of components across the full product lifecycle. The role also includes further development and maintenance of an HMI platform, hardware bring-up, development of test tools, and contribution to the security concept.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Embedded Linux software for medical technology
• Linux kernel, driver, and middleware development
• Concept and realization of test strategies; extend the existing test framework
• Component responsibility across the full lifecycle
• Continuous development of the HMI platform and maintenance of associated board support packages
• Hardware bring-up and development of test tools
• Development of the security concept

Requirements

• Technical degree (FH/TU) in electronics, electrical engineering, telematics, or comparable
• Multi-year experience in Embedded Linux design and development, especially ARM
• Good understanding of software development processes and experience in software system architecture (UML)
• Solid understanding of modern software toolchains (e.g., git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence)
• Independent and responsible working style
• Very good German and English language skills
