Description

You will be responsible for operating and continuously optimizing a Trust Center infrastructure, including PKI, Registration Authority, and production processes. The role focuses on designing, automating, and improving configuration and operational workflows, with proactive monitoring and incident troubleshooting. You will also build and maintain technical documentation standards and provide technical leadership for a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for operating and continuously optimizing the Trust Center infrastructure (PKI, Registration Authority, production processes)
  • Design, automate, and improve configuration and operational processes
  • Monitor availability, performance, and security; proactively analyze and sustainably resolve incidents
  • Build, maintain, and continuously update technical documentation and standards
  • Provide technical leadership for a small team: guide, coordinate, develop team members, and ensure knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • In-depth experience with Linux-based Public-Key Infrastructures (e.g., KeyFactor EJBCA), including encryption/decryption, authentication, and signature processes
  • Experience with electronic signatures, digital certificates, and relevant hardware (e.g., HSM) plus protocols (e.g., OCSP)
  • Strong Linux skills and secure handling of scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • Demonstrated experience in technical guidance and mentoring of team members
  • Experience with configuration automation (e.g., Puppet, Git) (preferred)
  • Knowledge of application servers or container technologies (preferred)
  • Load balancer experience (e.g., NGINX or comparable) (preferred)
  • Experience operating highly available, security-critical, or regulated IT environments (preferred)
