Description

You will develop business-critical custom software for industry leaders and integrate it into complex environments. Shape software engineering in the AI era by building AI-based customer solutions, delivering the full lifecycle from planning to operations. You will also design software architecture, testing strategies, and DevOps processes on-premises or in the cloud, and support agile teams through code reviews and engineering mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate mission-critical individual software for leading organizations.
• Contribute to the future of software engineering with AI-based solutions.
• Deliver software engineering from planning to operations in regular customer collaboration.
• Design software architecture, test strategies, and DevOps processes (on-premise or cloud).
• Conduct code reviews and mentor developers in agile teams.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience; degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, another STEM field, or equivalent education
• Hands-on experience in software projects and ideally technical team leadership (estimations, scoping, planning)
• Understanding of AI possibilities and limitations; experience with AI-based tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Initial practical experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic.AI, or crew.ai
• Strong knowledge of Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Angular, React, Next.js, REST, Kubernetes, Grafana, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and relational and/or non-relational databases
• Experience with microservice software architecture, design patterns, and test-driven development
• High quality awareness, agile mindset, strong communication, team mindset, and willingness to build knowledge and develop talent
• Excellent German and English (minimum C1)
