Description

Gain practical experience through various automation-focused projects. Perform tasks as directed, support operations, and enhance education/employment opportunities while collaborating with teams to complete projects on time.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to support operations and ensure timely project completion.
  • Use insights about customer needs and ABB offerings to identify suitable solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming, and collaborative efforts.
  • Seek feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
  • Assist in the development and testing of automation software.
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
  • Assist with creation of technical sales demonstrations.
  • Support development of documentation and user manuals for automation systems.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Participate in product inventories and manage department equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
