Description

In this role, you will contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. You will apply in-depth HSE knowledge to provide solutions and advice, ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence across the value chain.

Responsibilities

• Report HSE incidents to management and relevant stakeholders and take appropriate actions.

• Facilitate, assist, and provide guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways to mitigate risks.

• Provide feedback to management and employees on lessons learned and best practices within your unit and across the organization.

• Support and drive behavioral change through local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Health/Safety or Environment with 2+ years of experience preferred; or Associate degree with 4+ years HSE experience; or HS diploma/GED with 6+ years HSE experience

• Proven track record working in a manufacturing environment as part of the HSE (or equivalent) team

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including local HSE regulations

• Knowledge of widely used international standards

• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is required

• Authorization to work in the US already possessed

• Plus: Electrical Safety Program Implementation knowledge; Change Management experience

• Nice to have: CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP certifications
