Description

In this role, you will develop and support the successful implementation of the advisory services strategy in the US aligned with global priorities to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets. You will localize the global advisory services offering, plan, monitor, and develop a local offering portfolio, and ensure successful project execution. You will drive excellence in the advisory service teams by promoting continuous development of people and processes, championing ABB core values and principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the U.S. Advisory Services portfolio (Arc Flash Risk Assessments, Infrared Inspections, LOTO), leading portfolio strategy, customer value analysis, performance management, and alignment with global advisory services objectives.
  • Drive market, customer, competitive, technology, and regulatory analysis to identify growth opportunities, evaluate new service offerings, develop value propositions, and support investment and partnership decisions.
  • Develop and execute U.S. business and go-to-market plans, including business model development, pricing strategy, sales enablement, strategic business development initiatives, and portfolio expansion.
  • Partner closely with sales, operations, and global stakeholders to support operational execution, achieve revenue and margin objectives, and build long-term relationships with key customers and executive-level decision makers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in global functions including marketing, sales, account management and product management
  • Experience in service operations and field service within the power distribution and energy sector
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, electrical products, applications, and service solutions
  • Proven ability to develop innovative, customer-focused solutions and drive service growth
  • Experience managing complex customer projects, partnerships, and M&A-related initiatives
  • Global mindset with strong intercultural communication and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
  • Work authorization to permit employment in the US

  • Expected base salary range: $119,000 to $190,400 annually
  • Eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus
