Description

The Lead Data Analyst leads complex analytical initiatives by translating large internal and external data sources into actionable insights for Marketing and broader business objectives. The role designs and executes advanced analyses, integrates data from multiple systems, and builds scalable reporting and analytical solutions while communicating insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and delivery of advanced dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytical products for executive leadership and strategic initiatives
  • Own project planning (scope, timelines, deliverables) and provide guidance on complex ad hoc reporting requests
  • Design, enhance, and oversee scalable reporting frameworks across multiple product lines and business segments
  • Lead comprehensive customer and market analyses (customer/market sizing, share analysis, growth trends, segmentation)
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data accuracy and integrity, including audits, validation, and quality checks
  • Steward team data assets and help organize/enhance data resources; identify issues and improvement opportunities
  • Lead acquisition, integration, cleaning, validation, and analysis of data from multiple systems, databases, and tools
  • Coordinate data-related activities to align with project timelines and priorities

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of complex SQL query writing (joins, summarizing, grouping, data manipulation, analytical functions)
  • Familiarity with programming languages and analytical tools: Python, PowerBI, R, DataBricks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or equivalent (required)
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA, or equivalent (preferred)
  • 6+ years applied project experience (required)
  • 6+ years experience creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across the business with cloud environment experience (required)
  • 4+ years working as an individual contributor key team member others rely on (required)
  • Ability to communicate results to customers and leadership in nontechnical language
