Description

As a member of the Risk Finance Treasury Divisional Data Office (RFT DDO) in Group Strategic Analytics, you will support a data strategy across Risk, Finance and Treasury. The role focuses on management of change-the-bank activities to uplift data capabilities so the organization meets revised regulatory and internal policies and standards, including oversight of RFT data assets and the enterprise data management lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Work on data modelling and strategy projects including related governance and KPIs
  • Own relevant CTB and RTB data management priorities in partnership with divisional & regional stakeholders
  • Monitor data management regulatory changes and perform gap analysis to bank processes
  • Implement a Data Quality Control Framework to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness for the RFT mandated data scope and support compliance with Strategic Data KPIs
  • Identify the most critical and strategic data to bring under governance and facilitate right sourcing via strategic platforms
  • Support internal and external stakeholder relationships and represent the RFT data strategy and DDO function

Skills You’ll Need

  • Demonstrable experience translating Core Data Standards into practical implementation
  • Data analysis and modelling skills to interrogate large datasets, identify and document critical attributes used in production of key metrics and reports, and trace data lineage and transformations via flows and processes
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows, while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience with industry-standard data management tools such as Collibra and Solidatus
  • Python and SQL coding skills
  • 10+ years of banking experience, ideally in data-management related roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex problems clearly and structurally
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
