Description

Design industry-leading experiences that reduce the friction for new users onboarding to Stripe. Understand the product suite, customer needs, and AI/ML developments that could influence growth strategy, and contribute across the Growth team covering customer acquisition, conversion, and retention. Partner with engineering, product, partner teams, and the user research team to design, build, launch, and validate user-facing experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design industry-leading experiences that reduce friction for new user onboarding
  • Understand Stripe’s product suite, customer needs, and AI/ML developments influencing growth strategy
  • Contribute across the Growth team: customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Champion design in growth (and within the design organization)
  • Apply design priorities and principles to growth projects; show how growth work makes progress toward design goals
  • Work with engineering and product to design, build, and launch user-facing product experiences
  • Collaborate with partner teams to support growth and onboarding needs
  • Partner with user research and support ongoing research projects
  • Participate in design reviews and share work regularly with design and company leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Design, Product Development, or related field, plus 4 years of experience in Design
  • 3 years of experience in growth-related domains: onboarding journeys, email marketing, pricing pages, product upsells and cross sells, iterative conversion experiments, product surfaces
  • 3 years of experience conducting user testing and research using qualitative and quantitative data
  • 3 years of experience interpreting user data and metrics using A/B testing insights to inform product strategy and design improvements aligned with business and user goals
  • Experience with UI/UX and visual design software: Figma, animation tools After Effects, ProtoPie
  • Experience collaborating with engineers to build and launch software applications; incorporate design methodologies and engage in testing and prototyping
  • 2 years of experience crafting end-to-end user-focused onboarding journeys and creating compelling product demos, plus solutions for growth-related domains
