Description

Lead and manage supplier development initiatives to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of components and materials used in building automation products. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve supply chain issues, and support new product introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier development engineering activities to improve supplier quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support new product introductions through supplier qualification and development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supplier development or quality engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier quality management systems, supplier audits, and corrective action processes.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), APQP, PPAP, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing; proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Experience in the building automation or HVAC industry.
  • Strong leadership skills to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of global supplier management and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
