Description

The Private Banking Product Manager oversees the strategy and profitability of Private Banking products. You will own the full product lifecycle, conduct research and profitability analysis for data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, and partner with enterprise teams to develop and optimize solutions for Private Banking clients. The role includes launching new products and enhancements, managing operational and regulatory risk, and continuously improving customer experience, customer acquisition, and bank profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the full product lifecycle and profitability for assigned products within the Private Banking segment (checking, savings, time deposits, consumer lending, investment lines of credit, sweep accounts).
  • Partner with digital banking, core banking, private banking, credit, and payments teams to develop and optimize solutions for evolving Private Banking client needs.
  • Act as the business owner for product strategy; conduct in-depth research and profitability analysis to deliver data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Marketing, Product Implementation, Compliance) to bring new products, features, and enhancements to market.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including marketing campaigns, customer communications, and internal training materials.
  • Proactively manage operational and regulatory risk to ensure compliance standards and a seamless customer experience.
  • Continuously evaluate product performance and market trends and recommend modifications to pricing, features, and design to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience; MBA is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience in consumer, commercial, or private banking; strong preference for direct experience in product management, product analysis, or development.
  • Strategic mindset with exceptional financial and data analysis skills; ability to turn complex data into actionable business strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence; build consensus, manage complex projects across multiple departments, and present recommendations confidently to senior leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of banking procedures, technology systems, and regulations that underpin effective product design and management.
  • Outstanding judgment and communication skills (verbal and written).
