Description

Own the vision, roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end execution for data collection capabilities across web, server-side, and other digital touchpoints. Define and communicate clear product direction for helping customers collect accurate, governed, consent-aware, secure data that is ready for activation and analysis. Shape the evolution of event-based data collection (event schemas, data quality, validation, observability, and interoperability) while validating opportunities with qualitative and quantitative data.

Responsibilities

  • Own product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end execution for data collection capabilities
  • Define and communicate product direction for accurate, governed, consent-aware, secure data
  • Understand collection workflows, implementation challenges, regulatory requirements, and unmet customer needs
  • Translate privacy regulation, consent expectations, customer needs, technology, and market dynamics into product opportunities
  • Evolve event-based data collection: event schemas, data quality, validation, observability, interoperability
  • Break down complex cross-functional initiatives into incremental deliverables for planning, building, testing, and release
  • Create product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, success measures, and delivery milestones with cross-functional teams
  • Partner with engineering and architecture on scalable solutions and upstream/downstream dependencies
  • Use qualitative/quantitative data to validate opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, measure outcomes, and refine strategy
  • Set prioritization for engineering balancing customer value, technical investment, operational reliability, and business impact
  • Support go-to-market and adoption through enablement, documentation, demos, customer conversations, and launch planning

Requirements

  • 7+ years as a Product Manager building SaaS products; success driving customer adoption and retention
  • Deep knowledge of digital data collection (client-side/server-side tracking, SDKs, APIs, data layers, event pipelines, collection architectures)
  • Strong understanding of event schemas, tracking plans, and data validation
  • Experience building/managing products for complex customized implementations with upstream/downstream dependencies
  • Practical knowledge of consent management, privacy requirements, data governance, data security, and regulatory impacts
  • Experience working with customers in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance, public sector)
  • Ability to understand complex technical systems and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into focused, measurable increments linked to broader strategy
  • Strong product discovery/problem solving: root cause identification, hypothesis testing, evaluating alternatives
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience defining success metrics (data quality, reliability, governance, customer adoption, business outcomes)
  • High ownership/autonomy/accountability in a fast-paced environment
