US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Representative (field role)

Description

As a Veterinary Sales Representative on the US Pet Health team, you will engage with veterinary customers to achieve a sales goal with Elanco products within an assigned geography during a historic launch period.

Responsibilities

• Provide a key leadership role for distributor representatives within your assigned geography.
• Own product placement with targeted accounts in assigned geographical areas.
• Execute sales objectives and strategies with corporate hospitals.
• Complete a territory business plan with key essential wins; execute the plan as the year progresses.
• Complete set objectives and achieve sales goals while operating within an assigned expense budget.
• Serve as the key liaison with local veterinary associations; coordinate efforts for state VMA meetings.
• Spend a defined amount of time in the field executing face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers.
• Set up and execute launch meetings in conjunction with veterinary services to support each product launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent level of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent selling experience in a competitive selling environment, or prior Elanco intern.
• Team-first approach with a hustle mentality and eagerness to win.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Legal authorization to be employed in the United States; no anticipated visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B or TN).
