Description

Work on a financial fraud management project as a Senior Java Developer with Apache Kafka. You will build and maintain near real-time data pipelines, collaborate in a Scrum team on solution design and maintainability, and document your designs while aligning requirements with product owners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with other developers in a Scrum team
• Contribute to solution design and maintainability of applications
• Build and maintain near real-time data pipelines
• Interact with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Collaborate with engineers and properly document design and solutions

Requirements

• Senior server-side Java development skills (Java, Spring Boot, Web Services/SOAP/REST)
• Performance analysis, profiling and optimization
• Microservices and integration patterns
• Messaging technologies: Kafka
• Relational databases and SQL (Oracle or similar)
• NoSQL knowledge (Redis is a plus)
• Containers on Kubernetes (nice-to-have)
• AWS PaaS examples like Lambdas (nice-to-have)
