Description

You will be involved in a financial project focused on developing and maintaining a VMware Aria Automation Platform and enabling efficient infrastructure automation and self-service capabilities within a large banking environment. In this role, you will design and develop workflows using VMware Aria Orchestrator and/or Cloud Assembly, create new activity elements and XaaS services, and build integrations with other applications and systems. You will also support the setup and development of the VRA platform, work with CI/CD processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Developing new activity elements and automation components within the VMware Aria environment
  • Building and maintaining workflows using VMware Aria Orchestrator and/or Cloud Assembly
  • Developing and maintaining XaaS services and workflow automation solutions
  • Building integrations between VMware Aria and other applications and systems
  • Supporting the setup, configuration, and ongoing development of the VRA platform
  • Contributing to CI/CD processes and automation best practices
  • Continuously improving existing workflows, integrations, and automation processes

Requirements

  • Solid experience in workflow automation and development of XaaS services
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vRealize Automation 8.x / VMware Aria Automation and its components, especially VMware vRealize Orchestrator
  • Experience with at least one of: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript
  • Good understanding of YAML and JSON
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and processes
  • Experience with Atlassian products, especially Bitbucket and Jira
  • Understanding of Node.js
  • Experience with self-service portals or other content management platforms
  • Ability to work based on technical documentation, requirements, and instructions
  • Good communication skills in English
