Description

Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure and Databricks. Build, enhance, and maintain ETL processes for integrating data from multiple sources, and develop data transformation logic using Python, PySpark, and SQL. Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across the data platform; troubleshoot complex data issues and continuously improve existing processes; contribute to automation, deployment, and documentation activities within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure and Databricks
• Build, enhance, and maintain ETL processes for integrating data from multiple sources
• Develop data transformation logic using Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Collaborate with analysts, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across the data platform
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and continuously improve existing processes
• Contribute to automation, deployment, and documentation activities within Agile teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL (nice to have Azure Data Factory)
• Practical knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data transformation techniques
• Experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and working with large datasets
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling concepts
• Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver efficient, scalable solutions
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Azure Data Engineer and Databricks Data Engineer certifications are required
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
