Description

The MS Power Platform Expert will primarily oversee service architecture and workflows, focusing on the Self Service Portal ecosystem. The role aims to translate business needs into functional solutions through the design and development of services and automations.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end overview of service architecture, workflows, and integrations
• Analyze business needs and create practical solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain services, workflows, and automations using BMC Digital Workplace, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Build and support API integrations between relevant systems
• Create and maintain databases used by services and ensure data quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders, service owners, and platform teams
• Support incident resolution and continuous improvements

Requirements

Must Haves

• Experience in a Service Developer role or similar
• Experience with BMC Helix or Digital Workplace
• Experience using Power Apps and Power Automate for service development
• Proven API design and integration experience
• Strong SQL and database design experience
• Experience in maintaining databases and handling data quality
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with Active Directory, IIQ, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of IT Service Management processes
• Experience with enterprise-level workflow and automation platforms
