Power Platform Engineer

About the Role

Join the Workflow & Engineering Enablement team on a firmwide initiative supporting Global Operations. Build Power Platform-based applications, including user interfaces for data lifecycle management and workflow automation. Work with cross-functional teams to design and deliver business applications that streamline operations and provide data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development

• Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Dataverse.
• Build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions integrating with SharePoint, Azure, SQL, and third-party APIs.
• Create and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Design data models, entities, and relationships for effective data management.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and external systems such as Azure Functions.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Work with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into tailored solutions.

Maintenance and Support

• Monitor and maintain the health of Power Platform applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and training to end users.
• Optimize Power Platform usage by decommissioning unused resources and archiving unnecessary data to reduce cost.

SDLC

• Work within a Scrum team and track work in Jira or a similar tool.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and developers to gather requirements and deliver on time.
• Automate testing and deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years working with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proven track record developing custom applications with Power Apps.
• Strong experience building workflows with Power Automate and reports with Power BI.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft technologies and external connectors.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Excel.
• Experience with Power Platform connectors, such as AI Builder and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python.
• Azure Functions and DevOps experience is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
