Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) is a business-critical function within HSBC. The CCR IT team delivers technology that calculates counterparty credit risk exposure for thousands of clients globally every day.

Description

An IT Service Owner is responsible for the ongoing supply and support of the IT services owned and provides a single point of contact for those services in line with standard ITIL Service Lifecycle phases: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement. The role includes operational tasks, projects, and programs, and involves networking with teams such as Risks, Cyber Security, developers, and Project Managers.

What you’ll do

  • Be accountable for maintaining effective control of the end-to-end application and service (including Dev, UAT, Production and Contingency).
  • Ensure successful operation and continuous improvement of services.
  • Adhere to governance processes and ensure compliance with all FIM requirements, IT Controls & processes.
  • Proactively plan service requirements (e.g., evergreening, capacity upgrades) and regularly communicate the benefits and performance of services to the Business.
  • Serve as a contact or escalation point when tasks for assigned services are requested by stakeholders and other functions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within the function (other Services Owners, POD Team Members, Risk & Control Officers, Infrastructure Leads, vendor, SSP Leads and CCO Tech colleagues) and within the Group (Cyber Security).
  • Delegate requests for information/completion of regular reviews to POD team members, consolidate information, and respond to requesters.
  • Regularly review inventory tools to maintain service and application information.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in IT Service Management or Infrastructure/Software support or Project Management.
  • Very good knowledge of ITIL methodologies, mostly in SLM, Service Continuity, Information Security Management, Change, Incident & Problem management.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues from other teams.
  • Can-Do attitude where no task is too small or big.
  • Team player and adaptable to change.
  • Good knowledge of IT technologies, their components and their operational environments.
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Linux or Database such as Oracle.
  • Strong communication skills in English are a must.

  • ITIL v4
  • Project Management (PRINCE2/PMP)
  • Network or any IT related certificate

  • Pay range: 18,000 PLN – 20,000 PLN (monthly, gross). Variable pay is discretionary, influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
